    Trustees

The Trustee Act 2000 requires trustees to have regard to the need for diversification and suitability of investments, taking into account factors such as the size of the fund to be invested, the risk profile of investments, the need to produce an appropriate balance between income and capital growth, the requirement to meet the needs of the trust and any relevant ethical considerations. There is also a duty to obtain and consider proper advice when making or reviewing investments.

As with our private clients, Westminster Wealth Management offers investment portfolio management services to Trustees, including reviewing existing investments within the Trust and/or constructing new investment portfolios.

We identify the Trust’s objectives and risk profile and recommend a tax efficient investment portfolio by going through the 5 steps described in the Investment Portfolio Planning section.

We will then offer ongoing review of the performance of the investments within the Trust to ensure that they are on track to meet the objectives.
